๐Ÿ’›☺️๐Ÿ’› Week #20

Yo people...

Hey everybody this week has been super long I feel like. I don't know
why it just has. It has been good though. Only thing is we're out of
money for the month so we have been eating mystery meat in our
freezer. It is either caribou or moose I'm pretty sure. Then we mix it
with some rice and some BBQ sauce and a little ranch and that's been
pretty tasty. Haha freakin missionary life.๐Ÿ˜‚

Well everyone transfers are coming to an end and chances are I am
leaving Wasilla and headed somewhere new in the state of Alaska. I
really hope I stay though I really like my companion and I love my
ward and all the people in Wasilla.  Super awesome place to be and
I'll be sad if I have to leave so I guess we will see

This week we did lots of service and helping out in the community. We
went to the food pantry place and helped them out there and in return
they gave us some frozen burritos to munch on haha then we actually
went over to do a service for some less active members house who live on lake
Lucille and they are next door neighbors to Sara palin so that's
pretty sweet I have some pictures so I'll send those.

Teaching wise we have just been working with the same people and been
helping them. Our recent convert Stephanie's son just moved back with
her and he is 16. We had a lesson and now he want to hear the rest of
the lessons and we are going to try and put him on date next week so
that's pretty exciting.

So our fishing trip last week got cancelled. My companion ended up
getting sick so we couldn't go but then he started feeling better so
we went and played more disc golf. I was so bummed about the fishing
cause right now I guess the silvers are running and we would have
caught them, right in their mouth;)  today we going on a hike up
hatchers pass so I should get some sick photos for next week. Pray for
me though cause I'm so out of shape it isn't funny. I'm probably going
to die.

On another note I'm getting super tight with the other missionaries up
here. It's nice to have homies up her and people to talk to. It helps
with the homesickness as tough as I look I'm probably the biggest baby
up here hah I miss you all so much it's crazy. Just have so many
awesome memories with all of you back home. But I'm having fun up her
and making the most of it and creating all sorts of new memories that
I'll get to share with you guys some day. Don't worry to much about
me;)

love you all so much. ๐Ÿ’›

Fam๐Ÿ˜ˆ week# 19

Hey family this week has been pretty chill. We have been just visiting
families and and trying some less actives. We got two girls in our
ward, they are twins, and we have them on date for October 8. So
that's awesome but I'll probably be leaving this area because
transfers are in two weeks and chances are I'm leaving I really hope I
don't though so I guess we will see though.๐Ÿ’ฅ

Not a whole lot to say this week. I went disc golfing which was pretty
sweet. Also I got a haircut and tried a new hairdo so let me know what
you think I'll send a pic. I'm pretty sure I'm going to switch it back
though hah idk though.

My comp is pretty sick so I'm sure we're not going to be doing
anything today which is cool I'm down to chill. As of right now we're
supposed to be going fishing later but we will see how he is doing in a
bit.

Last night Elder Judd made some weird turkey meatballs and made this
ragu sauce thing and it was weird it was edible though so there's that
haha, honestly all I want is my moms sloppy joes and her lasagna ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.
I miss good food. Weird thing about being up here is I've actually
come to love salmon and halibut it's so good the way these people make
it. Never thought I would like sea food but I guess if you come to a
place where they know how to make it and it's what you eat it grows on
you.

Everything is up here is getting weird. The leaves are starting to
change and it's raining all the time and it's starting to get dark at
like 9:30 ish which is so weird it used to be like it would never go
down but I guess winter is coming so it's going to be great.

Anyway I love you all so much keep it real.

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™Œ Week #18

Hey fam๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐ŸŒฎ

Well people it's been a solid week. Had lots of good work and am
finally getting over being sick. There has been a freakin cold
pandemic up here and it sucked but I'm basically through it and I'm
glad๐Ÿค’๐Ÿ˜ท

Monday we did our normal thing and then we played dodgeball and
scatter ball with like 40 other missionaries. These kids were going
hard in the paint. I mean the one day they get to release tension and
get their energy out dodge ball probably wasn't the best idea. It was scary.

Tuesday was pretty chill the most exciting thing that happened was we
went to a less actives house and did some service and after Elder Judd
taught me how to do a backflip on the trampoline so I mean that's cool
and I have video proof so I'll attach that๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Wednesday we had interviews with the mission president and that was
good a little nerve racking but I don't know why because that man is one of
the most loving people and just an awesome man. But then we went to
Dairy Queen later that day and had a blizzard which was yummy ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Thursday was just a busy day of lessons and missionary work so it was
kinda boring but in all was pretty good! Got to teach our recent
convert and talk about her family and stuff.

Friday was awesome we went up in the morning and did service and
helped set up for a reunion of some kind so that was chill. Then later
that day our ward threw a party at camp Ladasa in willow so we got
to go see the willow chapel which is like a log cabin and then at the
camp we had a pig roast and I have some sweet pics I'll send but the
pig was delicious.

Saturday was good a lot of time just visiting less actives and
inviting them to church and also doing some finding. We also got a bed
for a member who needed it me and homie Elder Lewis took a selfie with
the mattress stuffed in our car so I'll send that. ๐Ÿ˜

Sunday we had to speak in sacrament (yesterday) and that was good my
talk was about ten minutes and was just on missionary work. I was so
nervous I hate speaking I suck at it. Ha then the rest of the day was
basic๐Ÿ’ฏ

Yea so that's been my week it has been a really fast week and the
transfer is already halfway over which is crazy to even think time is
flying and I love it out here. Miss all of you and hope all is well,
but seriously someone should send me a letter not a joke anymore;)

Love you all๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›

week #17

Hey friends

Well it's been another week and it's been good. We have been working
hard and haven't had a whole lot of success, but we going to keep
working hard I guess.

I miss you guys like crazy and it's weird because out here I feel like
I'm living a whole different life and it's nuts. I feel like I have
been a missionary forever but also feel like I just started it's
crazy. Anyway I'm having fun and loving my mission.

On Wednesday I got to go to the temple and it was awesome. Something
about the temple that just brings you closer to the savior and
Heavenly Father. The Anchorage Temple is so sick it's dope. It's so
crazy beautiful.

I've been super tired this week and I'm starting to get sick.
Somethings going around up here and it's finally hitting me. My
sinuses are completely stuffed and I have a sore throat so that's fun.
Anyway that's all I got. I love you guys and hope you have a good week

Week⚡️⚡️ week #16

Man this week has been solid but terrible news I got skunked fishing
so I started the week with a bad vibe. But the week got way better
though so I don't know. I got my new comp this week his name is Elder
Lewis and this kid is a boss. I love this guy. He's so freakin funny
he makes the days go by better haha ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Elder Lewis and have started to work out and it feels good. I guess
it's just the thought of working out sucks super bad  but once you
just buck up and start you just feel good it reminds me of football
and I freakin miss it๐Ÿ˜ฉ.  We're going to baptize all of Wasilla and
get super jacked at the same time so be ready for us.  ;)

Other than that we have been visiting with some family who wants their
kids baptized and they have to go through missionaries so we're going
to start teaching kids and I'm kind of nervous cause I don't know how
to teach kids all to well but I did do sharing time and we killed it
๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

Well also shout out to my brother who got to baptize his homie Willie.
I'm happy for that big guy who's not so big anymore haha he's just
sheddin that weight like crazy.. but he looks good and I love him he is my
 homie...

Love the chilliest missionary you guys know
